Hi, I’m Jason, co-founder of Olive & Rye Creative, a boutique media studio specializing in wedding videography. My wife Erica and I started this journey in 2018, our name inspired by our two wonderful kids, Olivia and Riley.
Every wedding film is approached with care and respect for what makes it unique. I take a natural, documentary-style approach, filming with a light, unobtrusive presence so you can stay present, relaxed, and fully in the moment.
When guidance is needed, like during portraits or in those in-between moments, I step in with light direction to keep things flowing naturally and feeling candid and effortless.
In the edit, the focus is on telling your story in a way that flows like a documentary, with a subtle, romantic, indie-inspired feel.

Established in 2018, Olive & Rye is a boutique media studio specializing in wedding videography and post production. Our story began in Los Angeles, when my wife Erica was a wedding hairstylist and I a movie trailer editor. During a trial run a bride, shared a wedding film with Erica that instantly inspired us both. It sparked a new passion for capturing weddings in a fresh, cinematic way.

His diverse experience in filming and post-production has shaped him into a versatile storyteller, skilled at infusing precision and creativity into every stage of the process.

Owner / assistant camera / Stylist
Erica, Co- founder and assistant videographer since 2018 helping Jason when assistance is needed. When not filming weddings she also runs her hair salon Erica Stoy Hair (and yes she does hair for weddings.)
