Hi, I’m Jason! My wife, Erica, and I run Olive & Rye Creative—a boutique studio named after our kids, Olivia and Riley. We launched in 2018 out of a genuine love for storytelling and a simple desire to create films in a space filled with joy for good, down-to-earth people.
I ditch the 'traditional wedding video' playbook of layering shots over music and lean into telling a poetic, cinematic story. It’s about crafting a short film that honors the emotional moments of your day through the speeches and words of the people who matter most to you.
Cinematic isn't just a pretty frame—it’s the weight of the story inside it.
My favorite part? Ending your film with a soulful bit of wisdom or a 'send-off' from a loved one—a little piece of heart to inspire you every single time you finish watching your film.
During filming, I like to be a quiet, calming presence, capturing your special moments in the background. And when it’s time for portraits, we’ll keep it light and have some fun capturing that joyful excitement of getting married..
