Hi, I'm Jason, the filmmaker behind Olive & Rye Creative. My absolute favorite moments are spent piling the family into the car and heading out to a drive-in movie theater. That lifelong love of cinema is what started it all.
I love getting creative and letting the emotions of day inspire me to edit your film in a way that reflects the personality of your wedding day. No film is the same, a truly custom wedding film. No cookie-cutter approaches.

For seventeen years, I created movie trailers for some of the top filmmakers in the industry, learning how to pace a story and tune into the rhythms of genuine emotion, so I always know when to zero in on the moments that truly matter
Since 2018, I’ve brought that experience to wedding filmmaking, creating intimate, atmospheric documentaries that are one of kind.
I love ending a film with a bit of wisdom from a loved one to leave you feeling inspired after every viewing.
My wife, Erica, and I started Olive & Rye in 2018, wanting a name that represented family at the core. We looked straight to our two greatest inspirations and toughest critics: Olivia and Riley. While I film, Erica is the heart, always behind the scenes, managing the details to keep everything running.
Why weddings?
It's a fun story but really It's simple, weddings are pure joy. Our studio grew out of a genuine love for storytelling and a desire to create films for good, down-to-earth people and their families.
