"Hi, I’m Jason. Along with my wife, Erica, I run Olive & Rye Creative—a boutique media studio born in 2018 out of a love for storytelling. Even our name is close to our hearts, inspired by our two children, Olivia and Riley.
When I’m behind the camera, my goal is to be a quiet, calming presence. I want you to forget I’m there so you can stay fully tucked into the emotions of your day.
That said, I’m always there to guide. Whether during portraits or whenever a little direction is needed, I’ll step in with light direction to keep things feeling easy and candid.
When editing the film, I move away from the traditional "wedding video" feel. I lean into honest meaningful moments while incorporating the subtle flow of a poetic indie-inspired documentary. I love to end my films with a soulful send-off—usually a toast or inspiring words from a loved one—leaving you with a piece of wisdom to carry into your new life together.

Erica, Co- founder and assistant videographer since 2018 helping Jason when assistance is needed. When not filming weddings she also runs her hair salon Erica Stoy Hair (and yes she does hair for weddings.)
