Hi, I’m Jason! My wife, Erica, and I run Olive & Rye Creative—a boutique studio named after our kids, Olivia and Riley. We launched in 2018 out of a genuine love for storytelling and a simple desire to create films in a space filled of joy for good, down-to-earth people.

I ditch the 'traditional wedding video' playbook to lean into a poetic, indie-cinematic style. It’s less about layering shots over music and more about crafting a short film that honors your emotional journey through out the day. Cinematic isn't just a pretty frame—it’s the weight of the story inside it. Getting to capture that is why I love what I do.

My favorite part? Ending your film with a soulful bit of wisdom or a 'send-off' from a loved one—a little piece of heart to inspire you every single time you finish the film.

During filming, I like to be a  quiet, calming presence, capturing your special moments without getting in the way. And when it’s time for portraits, we’ll keep it light and have some fun capturing that joyful excitement of getting married..
